It’s time for some food pictures again! The first two pictures need some further explanation; I took them at the rather famous ramen(noodle) shop Ichiran ramen, where it’s all about experiencing the perfect ramen taste.
When ordering your bowl of ramen you have to fill out a questionnaire about how you would like your ramen. You can choose your noodles to be soft, al-dente or shortly cooked and there are several options on quantity, spiciness, amount of garlic and other ingrediënts. On the first picture I was still waiting for the ramen I ordered, and after they served the ramen the curtain in front of me was closed as can be seen on picture two. The idea is that, in this way, you can fully concentrate on the taste of your ramen, not being distracted by anything around you. A fun experience and some great ramen, although I have to say that the ramen I had in Sapporo still is the best I ever had.
